Inner courtyard rooms are rated as quiet rooms by staff and priced at $50 more. Outer rooms face highway and are quite noisy. Staff advise that lower level floors get complaints due to loud footsteps from second floor. Decor is new and the facilities looks good. Better sound proofing would make this an easy choice but as it stands there are much better choices in Santa Barbara. I can’t recommend.

Wonderful place. Very quaint with a pretty courtyard in the center. Small pool and spa, plus gym. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully remodeled bathrooms. Clean. Easy parking and location off the freeway. Only issue was the laundry-dirty and needs maintenance. Everything else was great!

The room's were great, Some customer service needs to be explain to the guest upon checking in update, their is a $50.00 charge for using the extra's in the room. Twice I went to the front desk about some lights were not working, still did not get fix when My wife and I return to our room. Some smiling would not hurt, from front desk. Please keep in mind, their is a 12% Occupancy charge, when the Carpinteria tax is only 9%. None of this above is every explain too guest. just hidden fees

Very modern and clean room and bathroom. Great area around with restaurants and close beach. Dream after highway 1 trip on the way to LA

I am a continuous traveler and go through Santa Barbara to Los Angeles so looking for hotels is apart of my job. I was a little early and I understood check in is at 3 and the room will be ready, at 3 I come back and NO ROOMS IN THE ENTIRE COMPLEX where ready! Wth! I booked plenty of time ahead and it’s horrible! Looks like Hampton it is.
